Hello, I’m Lisa. I’ve worked in the funeral profession for nearly 10 years, and during that time I’ve supported families through some of their hardest days, and helped them find meaningful ways to say goodbye.
Becoming a funeral celebrant felt like a natural step for me. I’ve always believed that every life deserves to be remembered in a way that truly reflects the person, not just who they were, but how they made people feel. That’s what I try to bring to every service: something honest, heartfelt, and completely personal.
I work across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas, meeting people from all walks of life. Every family, every story is different and that’s what makes this role so special. Whether it’s a quiet, simple farewell or a celebration full of character and colour, I’ll work closely with you to create something that feels just right.
You don’t have to have all the answers. I’m here to guide you through it, gently and with care, making sure your loved one’s story is told exactly as you want it.
When you're planning a funeral, things can feel overwhelming — but you're not alone. I'm here to guide you through it all with compassion, clarity, and care. Here's how I usually work:
I’m often appointed by a funeral director, however you are free to appoint me directly by email or calling me. Once I’ve been appointed, I’ll give you a call to introduce myself and arrange a time to meet that works for you.
After our first chat, I’ll send you an email outlining what to expect, what I’ll need from you, and how we’ll work together. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable and informed from the very start.
We’ll meet in person, this is usually for about two hours, to talk about your loved one. I’ll listen carefully as you share their story, memories, personality, and all the little things that made them special.
Using everything you’ve shared, I’ll write a completely personalised ceremony that captures the heart of who they were. This isn’t a template, it’s their story, and will always be completely unique.
You’ll have a chance to read through the ceremony and make any changes you like. It’s important that it feels right for you and your family.
I’ll be there on the day to deliver the ceremony exactly as we’ve planned. I’ll also be on hand to support you and liaise with the funeral director, making sure everything runs smoothly.
After the ceremony, I’ll give you a printed keepsake copy of the ceremony, something to hold onto, revisit, or share with those who couldn’t be there.
Throughout every step, I’ll gently guide you through what’s needed, always with patience, kindness, and a listening ear.
I offer a range of services to help you say goodbye in a way that feels right for your loved one, and for you. Whether you're planning a quiet, intimate ceremony or a fuller celebration of life, I’ll work closely with you to create something meaningful and personal.
A unique, heartfelt service created from scratch, no templates, no generic words, no AI, just a tribute that tells the true story of the person you've lost. I work with families of all beliefs and none, offering non-religious or lightly spiritual ceremonies.
Whether you’ve already said goodbye or want to mark a special date, memorials offer time and space to gather, reflect, and celebrate a life in your own way.
I can lead a short, respectful ceremony for the interment or scattering of ashes, often more intimate and informal, but just as personal and important.
Struggling to write a eulogy or tribute? I can help you find the right words, whether you’d like me to write something for you, or simply support you in putting it together.
All services include:
A personal meeting (usually in your home)
A fully written script to approve and edit
Delivery of the ceremony on the day
A printed keepsake copy of the script for you to keep
If you’re unsure what you need, I’m here to gently guide you through the options and help you choose what feels right.
